Is the Seven Pro tethered or untethered?
It’s available in either a tethered or untethered form. They are both priced at £999.
Is the Seven Pro Type 1 or Type 2?
The Seven Pro only comes with either a Type 2 connector for the tethered unit or a Type 2 socket for the untethered version.
What size cables are available?
No cable is needed for the untethered VCHRGD as you use your own charging cable, but a 5m or 7.5 m cable is available for the tethered version.
What is the maximum power output?
The maximum power output is 7.4kW (32A) – the highest-rated power output available on a single-phase electricity supply.
Does the Seven Pro come in different colours?
The VCHRGD only comes in black.
Is the Seven Pro solar-compatible?
Yes, it’s solar-compatible. A CT clamp is installed at the point of installation so you can use solar panels to top up your electric car battery.
Is there a 22kW version?
There is a 22kW charger — the VCHRGD TwentyTwo Pro. However, the 22kW is focused on commercial EV charger installations rather than domestic ones.
While not in our standard range, if you would like a quote for a 22kW EV charger, please contact us on 03333 44 96 99. Please note you will require a three-phase electricity supply to take advantage of the 22kW power output.
What are the dimensions?
