Is the Home Pro tethered or untethered?
The Home Pro is tethered. However, its sister – the ePod, is available in an untethered version and functions the same.
Is my electric car compatible with the Home Pro API technology?

Is the Home Pro Type 1 or Type 2?

Does the Home Pro come in different colours?
The Home Pro only comes in black.
Is the Home Pro compatible with solar panels?
Solar compatibility is now available for the Home Pro for chargers installed from January 2023 and up.

No, there are no 22kW Ohme chargers available on the market.
What is the exact size of the Home Pro?

Yes, as with all our EV chargers, the Home Pro is compliant with the government’s electric vehicle smart charge points regulations.
What is the maximum power output?
The maximum power output of the Ohme Home Pro is 7.4kW (32A) – the highest-rated power output available on a single-phase electricity supply.
Does Home Pro connect to Wi-Fi?
No, Ohme EV chargers only use mobile data for connectivity.
Does the Ohme Home Pro lock?
There is no specific locking feature on this charger. But, as a tethered charger, it provides an added layer of security as nobody can remove the cable.
Is the Ohme Home Pro on the OZEV authorised chargepoint list?
Yes, the Ohme Home Pro is authorised by OZEV for grant-subsidised EV charger installations, both for homes and businesses.

What's included in this price?
- Fitting of a single phase 7.4kW tethered Ohme Home Pro to a brick or plaster wall or other suitable permanent structure
- Up to 10 metres of cable, run and neatly clipped to the wall between the electricity supply meter/distribution board and the charge point.
- Routing of the cable through a drilled hole in a wall up to 500mm (20 inches) thick if this is needed.
- The fitting and testing of electrical connections and protections required for the charge point.
- An additional three-way consumer unit, if required
- Installation of a Type A RCBO in an RCBO enclosure
- Up to 3 metres of plastic trunking to conceal interior wiring.
- An O-pen earth protection device if the charge point requires it. (This is NOT an earth rod)
