We hold ourselves to the highest standards in all areas of business, including our environmental impact. That’s why we are committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 across all operations.

How we’re reducing our emissions

During 2025/2026, we’ve taken the necessary steps to reduce our emissions across the business, from the team in the Bingley office to our field engineers on the road:

• Achieved ISO 14001 certification
• Offer paperless quotes, invoices and certificates
• Provide sustainability training for all employees
• Installed smart EV chargers at the office
• Upgraded office lighting to LED
• Continuous reviews of office space, including the introduction of a staff shut-down policy where lights, monitors and all non-essential equipment are switched off at close of business
• Fewer outbound visits due to remote, online surveys, cutting unnecessary installer journeys
• Route-planning our engineers to cluster jobs by area to cut mileage and maximise efficiency

Future carbon reduction initiatives

In the future, we hope to implement the following sustainability initiatives:

• Introduce a Cycle-to-Work scheme
• Introduce an EV salary sacrifice scheme
• Adopt a fully electric fleet for our engineers
• Opt for uniforms made from recycled or lower-impact materials
• Offset carbon emissions with tree-planting
• Install solar panels at the office
• Continue staff education on sustainability practices
• Roll out smart energy technology to reduce in-office energy use
• Switch to 100% renewable energy tariffs

Our ongoing commitment

Reducing our carbon footprint is an ongoing commitment. We’re dedicated to measuring, reporting and reducing our carbon emissions every year as we work towards Net Zero by 2050, while helping more and more customers make the switch to electric.
