Is the Easee tethered or untethered?
The Easee is an untethered charger. However, you can lock the compatible charging cable in place to imitate a tethered unit.
Is the Easee Type 1 or Type 2?
It’s universal, meaning a Type 1 or Type 2 charging cable will be compatible.
Does the Easee come with a charging cable?
No, it doesn’t come with a charging cable, as you use your own. However, a branded charging cable is available upon request.
Does the Easee come in different colours?
The faceplate comes in black as standard, but red, white, anthracite grey and blue covers are available at an extra cost.
What is the maximum power output?
The maximum power output is 7.4kW (32A) – the highest-rated power output available on a single-phase electricity supply.
Can I get a 22kW version?
Yes, the Charge is 22kW. Contact us at 03333 44 96 99 to purchase this version.
Please note that 22kW EV chargers require your home to have a three-phase electricity supply, and usually requires an expensive fuse upgrade from your DNO.
Does the Easee work with solar panels?
Yes, but you will need to purchase the Equalizer to unlock the solar feature.

Is the Easee compliant with the Smart EV charging regulations?
Yes, as with all our EV chargers, the One is compliant with the smart charge points regulations.

Yes, the One is authorised by OZEV for residential and commercial grant-subsidised installations.
