EV infrastructure grant for staff and fleets
The EV infrastructure grant supports installing chargers and preparing for future facilities, covering costs like installation, wiring, and posts. Five parking spaces need infrastructure to qualify, but only one charger must be live, offering £2,850 per live charger.
Small and medium-sized businesses with fewer than 249 employees meeting the criteria can apply, with up to £15,000 available per application, making it an ideal time to invest in EV charging infrastructure.
Workplace Charging Scheme
The Workplace Charging Scheme covers up to 75% of the total cost of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charging points. The grant is capped at £350 per socket, with a maximum of 40 sockets, totalling a generous £14,000 of available government funding per applicant.
Registered companies, charities, public authorities, and small accommodation businesses that meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS).
